March for Maui - Maui Dolphin March on Parliament

This is a peaceful rally walking from Allen street to Parliament builidngs. We invite all people to walk with us and ask that our MP's use thier special emergency powers and immediately stop the use of SET/Gill Nets. This march is supported by all New Zealand conservation groups.

The Maui dolphin is now considered the rarest dolphin in the world. Are we going to let it disappear. We will be handing out submissions which you can post yourself or email to our government; DOC and MAF.

At Parliament itself from 14.30 we will be hearing speeches from some wonderful marine biologists, scientists and MP's. Dr Liz Slooten and Green MP Gareth Hughes have confirmed. We are awaiting on musicians who will be confirmed within the next couple of days.

We have some very special Maui dolphins attending Big love to Body FX ♥

We need people to help with spreading the message around Wellington. We will have some posters that can be downloaded or please make and bring your own...we need our government to sit up and wake up!..We still have a few things needed on our wish list. We need some marshalls to keep us safe on the roads...?
