Mark Cunningham

Living legend Mark Cunningham continues his exciting life as one of the most inspiring world class bodysurfers of all time after retiring from 29 years of Honolulu City & County lifeguard duty including the beach at Ehukai Beach Park for nearly two decades. He's six time winner of the Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic.

In 2005, Mark won the Mexico International Bodysurfing Competition at Puerto Escondido, known as "The Mexican Pipeline"; is co-writing a screenplay about bodysurfers; and is in talks with Quiksilver about various opportunities connected with the surf-wear company. Cunningham was featured in singer/surfer Jack Johnson's surf film "A Broke Down Melody"; and more recently the bodysurfing documentary, Come Hell or High Water by yet another of our legendary surfers, Keith Malloy.

We are so grateful to Mark for "Showing his Love" for our little Maui's & Hector's Dolphins when signing "Plight of The Torpedo People" for Let's Face It campaign coordinator Peggy Oki.
