From Across the World With Love for "Our" Maui's & Hector's Dolphins

25 NGOs

With the New Zealand government re-opening a submission period on the Threat Management Plan (TMP) for Maui's & Hector's, 25 NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) stepped in through this window of opportunity to further express on behalf of millions of members, international voice for Maui's & Hector's.

Initiated by Peggy Oki, "Let's Face It" Campaign Coordinator working with Christine Rose of Maui's & Hector's Dolphin Education Action, ultimately much gratitude goes to D.J. Schubert of Animal Welfare Institute and WhalesNeedUS for tirelessly crafting this letter which addresses threats and calls for protections to prevent extinction and allow for the recovery of Maui's & Hector's Dolphins.

Additionally, prior to the deadline, a "Let's Face It" Visual Petitions submission was sent to the NZ government representing 7,314 ‘signatories’, citizens of New Zealand and across the world calling upon the NZ government to protect Maui’s & Hector’s dolphins as described in this letter.
