After a long and impressive history of public service, Salud was first elected to the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors in March, 2004 and was reelected in June, 2012. He currently serves as Chair of the 2013 Board.
Supervisor Carbajal is committed to working with First District and other county residents to protect our environment, provide resources to enhance our public health and safety, improve our transportation infrastructure, partnering to strengthen our local schools and enhance career opportunties for local youth, and ensuring that we have an accessible and fiscally responsible government.
